The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey announced on Tuesday that the new Terminal 6 at John F. Kennedy International Airport, slated for completion in 2026, will feature installations by 18 contemporary artists from seven different countries.

The terminal in Queens is set to display the largest collection of artworks among New York's airports. It will include pieces by prominent U.S. artists such as Nina Chanel Abney, Teresita Fernandez, Charles Gaines, and Barbara Kruger, as well as works known Berlin based artist Nevin Aladag.

For JFK, the Port Authority has once more partnered with the Public Art Fund, a New York-based nonprofit that oversaw the commissioning of installations at La Guardia’s Terminal B and Newark. (The site-specific works at La Guardia’s Terminal C were curated by the Queens Museum).
