Taking Käthe Kollwitz' and Mona Hatoum's works as a starting point, the Kunsthalle Bielefeld takes a new look at the collection and presents works that can be read as standpoints. What they have in common is that they are resistant to the status quo. Counter-images to the here and now are juxtaposed with works that directly criticize the current state of affairs. The question of the standpoint in the media age is also negotiated.
