21 Sophie von Hellermann in conversation with Lisa Zeitz

The artist Sophie von Hellermann lives in London, teaches painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Karlsruhe, has painted the walls in Schloss Freienwalde - Walther Rathenau's country house - and has just opened an exhibition at the Wentrup Gallery in Berlin. Lisa Zeitz talks to her about the status of painting today, how to paint a ceiling, and how she approached Walther Rathenau's turbulent history with her art.
