Overview

In his works, Thomas Wachholz explores the meanings and associations found in the formal characteristics of everyday objects. He combines the visual style and ideological foundations of popular culture with geometrical abstraction. In his exhibition, he will showcase new canvases and sculptures from his series that incorporate imagery of matchboxes and matches.

 

Wachholz was born in 1984 in Cologne where he currently lives.
