“FloodZone” is an extensive photographic project by Anastasia Samoylova that explores the issue of rising sea levels in Miami, Florida. In it, the city’s tropical colour palette and quality of light contrast with the growing tension between the booming property market and the ocean’s encroachment on the coastline. The idyllic backdrop is becoming increasingly fragile.
