Join Metro Art commissioned artist Karl Haendel and Petersen Museum Chief Archivist Laura Fisher for a special behind-the-scenes tour of the museum archives, followed by a Metro station art tour and discover objects from the Petersen Automotive Museum featured in the Haendel's Hands and Things at the neighboring Wilshire/Fairfax Station.
Explore the history of the area through objects in the Petersen archives, and learn about Haendel’s creative process and community-centered approach to creating his artwork for this station.
