The site-specific installation The Kiss of Heaven, created specifically for the Union-Gelände, consists of five delicate bronze sculptures of supersized matches climbing the wall in a loving embrace. Their seemingly fragile appearance is deceptive, as they are made of bronze. To some, the sculptures dance with the joy of life; to others, they evoke transience, loss, or the realization that even what has been burned away can glow once more.
