Olaf Metzel: Mondrian Ambiente

Wentrup is pleased to present Mondrian Ambiente, Olaf Metzel's fifth solo exhibition with the gallery, opening October 16th 2026. Metzel (b. 1952, Berlin) is a multimedia sculptor whose provocative and dynamic works engage with social and political issues, incorporating found objects and urban materials. Since 1990, Olaf Metzel is a Professor at the Akademie der Bildende Künste, Munich while participating in numerous biennales internationally. His work is exhibited in St. Gertrud, Essen as part of this year's Manifesta 16 Ruhr and was recently featured in a solo exhibition at Kongresshalle Nürnberg.
