Hicham Berrada | Présage: Noor Riyadh, UAE

For Noor Riyadh 2022, Hicham Berrada was one of the artists selected to present a video work from his series, Présage, which he began working on over a decade ago and has been developping ever since. The process is the same everytime, beginning with an empty glass jar or tank, to which then various components are added and chemically activated. Berrada approaches his art like a science experiment, carefully noting all parameters and variables for these acquatic worlds.
